Sarah Slamen is a nationally-recognized activist and political consultant. Raised in the southwest suburbs of Fort Bend County, she started her public speaking career as a Lincoln-Douglas debater and Constitutional Law competitor in high school. After earning her degree in Political Science from the University of Houston, Sarah managed and worked in the field on presidential, statewide, and municipal campaigns, and single-issue grassroots efforts.
During Texas' 83rd legislative session, she gained national media attention for her activism within the coalition that fought the passage of Texas' omnibus anti-abortion bill. In 2018, Sarah led the campaign to flip Texas State House District 115 and later started her own business after recognizing the need to professionalize and standardize campaign efforts across Texas campaigns.
Aside from campaign work, Sarah has appeared as a political contributor on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, MSNBC's The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell, The ReidOut, The Ed Schultz Show, and CBS-DFW, and BNC News. Over the years, she has spoken in front of audiences across the United States and is available to speak to grassroots, professional and campaign organizations.
Today, Sarah sets clients up for success with her company Field Wins, and works with campaigns across the Southern United States.
